iMocha was developed in 2012 to make the interview process more efficient. Started by two men who were interested in technology, they looked to technology to help them find hiring solutions and reduce the amount of time spent finding the right talent to hire. Previously known as Interview Mocha, iMocha was originally a digitized interview solution. This saved time in the recruiting process, by cutting down on the time needed to interview individual job-seekers.
In 2015 the iMocha devoted itself to skills assessment and began designing hiring solutions. As they have focused more on developing assessments the Interview was dropped from the name, and the company was rebranded as iMocha. It provides assessment testing across several industries and is constantly adding new companies to its list of clients. iMocha tests are used by large corporations worldwide as they revamp their hiring process to match the strides that have been made in hiring technology.
iMocha Psychometric Tests
iMocha offers a large number of different tests. These tests can be customized by the companies using them to make them industry-specific, and more or less difficult based on the roles they will be using them for. iMocha assessments run the gamut from accounting tests to coding and English proficiency tests. Assessments created for specific roles are designed based on the skills that are deemed necessary for performing those jobs.
iMocha has a skill library that businesses can choose from to build their assessment tests. With 500 IT skills, 20 coding languages, 50 aptitude skills, and more, there are endless options for employers trying to simplify the way they hire. These tests will be designed to evaluate cognitive function and specific skills like:
iMocha has several methods for companies to utilize in proctoring their exams to prevent cheating. They may proctor it by taking real-time images so they can see the person testing through their webcam. They may utilize a window lock that will display how many times and for how long the test-taker has left the test. No test will be the same, because for each test the questions are randomly generated from a question bank. They may use audio proctoring so the system can screen voice activity. Test-takers may be recorded by the webcam.
