What Is Alaska Airlines’ Recruitment Process?

Hop onto the Alaska Airlines website to look for the job that is the right fit for you. The website also lists careers with the Alaska Airlines partner Horizon Air. Search through the job listings, and join the talent community to upload your resume, and sign up for job alerts. Each career area has its own talent community that you can join based on the job you are looking for.

After your application is submitted, there may be slightly different steps, based on the job you are interested in. Some applicants will receive a link to take some online assessment tests, while others may be asked to complete and submit a video interview. Those who take the online assessments may later be contacted for a phone screening. After these steps are complete you will be invited for an interview.

The interview process also varies from job to job. Some people will be asked for a face-to-face interview with one management member, while others may come in for a group interview or an assessment day.

This test will have a time limit.
  • Cognitive Ability TestCognitive tests are given as a way of seeing if job-seekers have the ability to quickly learn tasks and apply them to their new role. These test a very strictly timed, and you will need to complete as many questions as you can in the time you are allowed.

 

How to Prepare for Alaska Airlines’ Assessments?

These tests are an extremely important part of the hiring process. Without acceptable scores, you will not be allowed to continue to the interviews. It is important that you are mentally prepared to take these tests if you hope to achieve not just acceptable, but standout scores.
