ChargePoint Online Tests & Interviews  Preparation – 2025

Interview Process

What Is ChargePoint?

Previously known as Coulomb Technologies, ChargePoint operates the largest electric network of vehicle recharging stations in 14 countries. They also design and manufacture the technology involved. ChargePoint provides services to businesses, property owners, and fleet depots. They offer AC charging stations, as well as the faster DC charging stations based on the needs of their customers.

Charge point has opportunities available in engineering, operations, product management, sales, and support. Positions are available in the United States, Canada, the Netherlands, the UK, India, and in other countries as opportunities become available.  Jobs will continue to become available as electric vehicles become more common and ChargePoint grows to meet the demand for charging stations.

ChargePoint Online Assessments

As ChargePoint continues to expand there will be more demand for qualified employees who are passionate about helping develop sustainable technology. To make sure job-seekers applying for positions are qualified and on a path to success there may be online assessment tests. These tests help the recruiting team find the best applications and narrows the applicant pool. Online assessments may be made up of cognitive and skills tests, and personality tests. This mix helps identify people who have the ability to perform well and learn quickly, as well as those who will be the best fit for the company overall.

Some of the tests you may be asked to take include:

ChargePoint’s Interviews

If you are selected to interview, you may initially have a phone interview with a recruiter or hiring manager. During this interview they will go over the job details with you and ask you about your qualifications. This interview may also consist of behavioral questions. This is a great time for you to ask any questions you may have about the job and the company.

If this goes well, you will be asked to come in for an in-person interview. This interview will focus on more technical questions and may be conducted with more than one member of management. The in-person interview can take several hours, so go in prepared for it to be an extended process.

How to Prepare for ChargePoint’s Psychometric Tests?

ChargePoint is still a new company, and since they are still growing their business, they need to do this with the help of the best possible employees. Since you will not be selected to interview without an adequate score, prepare for these tests to prove that you deserve a place on their team. Cognitive tests can be prepared for easily just by doing word puzzles, reading, or using online apps designed to help improve your abstract thinking skills. Brushing up on skills such as the basics of software design, physics, or any mechanical skills the job calls for is also beneficial.

You can give yourself an edge on personality and situational judgment tests just by learning about the company. Learn about their corporate culture, and their mission so you are informed about what they expect, and what you can anticipate on the job. Answer these tests as though you are already an employee there, but do not try to “cheat” the test by giving them the answers you think they want.

The increase in demand for electric vehicles has spurred on a need for the technology to support and keep them moving. Sustainable transportation is becoming the next big thing, and there is no better time than the present to begin your career or make a career change to help the development of this new innovative technology.
