What Is the Hiring Process at Continental?

Application

Continental lists their current vacancies on their website. Once you have found a role that fits your skills, you will need to create a profile in their applicant portal to apply for the position. Be sure that you enter the correct contact information when setting up your account.

You will need to upload a recent copy of your CV during the application process. This document should highlight your skills and experience relevant to the position at Continental. It is also good practice to keep your CV to two pages.

Continental’s Psychometric Tests

  • Numerical Reasoning Aptitude Test One test you will likely encounter is the numerical reasoning test. This exam will assess your ability to solve various calculations and give the management team insight into how you solve problems. The questions will get more challenging as you go through the test, so be prepared to answer questions of different difficulty levels. This test will be timed, so you will need to answer each question quickly and accurately.
  • Verbal Reasoning Aptitude TestCandidates will also need to take a timed verbal reasoning test. This assessment examines your ability to read, comprehend, and draw logical conclusions from written text. Each question will provide you with a text passage and ask you questions based on what you just read. You may also see true or false questions during this exam. In this case, you will need to determine if a given statement is true or false based on the text or if you do not have enough information to decide.
  • Abstract Reasoning AssessmentIn addition to the verbal test, you may also encounter an abstract test that measures your ability to understand non-verbal information. Questions in this exam will likely be pattern-based. You will be given a matrix or a series of shapes and must identify the missing figure that completes the pattern. You will have a time limit for this test.
  • Personality TestThe last assessment you will encounter during the application process is the personality test.
