This type of question features changing matrices. You need to be able to find the missing piece. The other type of reasoning you might test for is deductive reasoning. This type of reasoning is about using context clues to determine if a conclusion is accurate. This type of reasoning question will be true or false.
  • Situational Judgment Test The SJT test is about how you handle work-related problems. The test questions give you different challenges you might have on the job. There are several solutions for you to choose from. Pick the one that is the closest to the way you would resolve the issue.
  • Programming – Software engineering candidates need to show programming proficiency. This test will feature general questions about different programming languages. You also need to complete a programming challenge. HackerRank is the most popular platform for programming challenges.
  • Personality Survey Personality questionnaires are used for human resources to see how well you fit into the team. They are also used to see how well you align with the company’s values. The questions determine what drives you, your motivation, and how you work with others.

 

How to Prepare for Microchip Technology’s Assessments?

To get through the hiring process, stay on top of your game. This includes the assessments. The job posting will show you which skills you may need to focus on. You can prepare for the general aptitude test by doing things that strengthen your reasoning abilities.
